Priority Shufflerの使い方
Randomly reorder lists to determine priorities. Manual adjustment with drag & drop is also possible.
What is Priority Shuffler?
Shuffler randomizes the order of an entire list. Where Roulette and Picker pick one item, Shuffler decides the full ranking — who goes first, second, third, and so on. Use it for presentation orders, task priorities, game turn sequences, or any time "all positions matter equally". Lock and drag-and-drop let you blend randomness with constraints (e.g. "this task must be first regardless of shuffle").
使い方の手順
Enter the items to shuffle
Add items one at a time or paste a newline-separated list. Names, tasks, places — anything that has an order. No hard item limit, but 5–30 items is most practical.
Shuffle
Press "Shuffle" and the entire list is reordered randomly. Each press produces a different order. You can re-shuffle, but adopting the first result is recommended to preserve fairness.
Lock and fine-tune
Click an item's lock icon to pin it to its position — subsequent shuffles skip that item. For finer control, drag items directly. Use priority tags (High/Medium/Low) to shuffle only within the same priority tier.
Export the final order
Export as text (paste into Slack or email), CSV (import to spreadsheets), or JSON (for scripting). Closing the browser without exporting loses the order — and re-shuffling produces a different result.
A concrete scenario
A monthly internal tech meetup with 12 presenters
Situation
Every month 12 people give 5-minute talks. Alphabetical order got stale, and presenters late in the list had uneven preparation quality.
How it played out
Paste the 12 names, click Shuffle, and paste the new order into the Slack channel. People know their slot in advance so they can prep accordingly, and no one is perpetually the opener or closer. The rotation stays fair without a fixed rule.
ヒントとコツ
- Lock specific items for constraints like "this must be last"
- Priority tiers shuffle within each tier only
- The history control undoes the last shuffle
- Always export before closing the browser

Common mistakes to avoid
- 1Using Shuffler when you only need one winner — use Picker for "pick one".
- 2Skipping the lock feature and getting orders that violate obvious constraints.
- 3Forgetting to export and losing the order at browser close — a re-shuffle produces a different outcome.
- 4Setting priority tiers without realizing the order within a tier is still random.
